Studio + New Member

23 September 2008
After the summer concerts, we're heading into the studio with the Kingston Cruisers, where over the next few weeks we'll be working on the album due out at the end of the year. Because of this, you'll unfortunately get to hear us play live a bit less often for a while, but of course there will still be KC shows this autumn, and in December the new record is expected to arrive – naturally accompanied by a release show!

Anyone who dropped by our last few gigs will already have met our new guitarist, Csaba Tomi, who from now on is (also) beefing up the KC-Crew. And if you happened to miss his debut, you can check out the photos from the late-summer concerts in the gallery – and of course it's never too late to make up for it at a show!

Prize Contest

5 May 2008
Thanks to the award we won at the Fringe Festival, the band is heading into the studio in the next few days, and to mark the occasion we'd like to invite you along too. All you have to do is answer a question on the message board, and the first 3 people to get it right can come to the studio on May 11 to watch how KC's latest recording is made. Along with the studio visit, we've also got signed KC goodies waiting for you!

And here's the question: What is the title of the song we're about to record?

The answer can be found on our website.

Send us your answers in the guestbook! We'll get back to the winners at the e-mail address you provide there, so don't forget to enter it correctly, and in the title field please write Prize Contest.
